Classical styling and state-of-the-art technology in blade manufacturing combine to create the Twin Pro S series. Each blade uses the precision SIGMAFORGE construction and is made from the J.A. Henckels exclusive formula high carbon, no-stain steel that is precision-hand honed to stay sharper for longer, and have a more consistent blade angle. The steel is hardened using the patented Friodur ice hardening system for maximum no-stain properties and excellent blade strength because of the improved resistance to corrosion and pitting. The triple riveted Novodur handles lay on the fully visible tang, giving the knife proper balance and greater strength. Like a carving knife, slicing knives are made to cut through cooked meats of any kind, including roasts and poultry, but have a thinner blade for extra thin slicing. It's the perfect knife for slicing meat at your next holiday dinner and with it's hollow edge, will allow for even thinner slices for sandwiches.
